Affinity Detection

Affinity is a characteristic parameter for evaluating the strength of the interaction between two molecules during a reversible reaction. It is an important indicator for understanding molecules and identifying biological processes, drug discovery and screening, etc. Protein interaction/affinity detection can be applied to various links such as early drug research and development, screening and identification, preclinical and clinical research, and downstream production quality control, and is also widely used in basic research in life sciences and biopharmaceutical development. Currently, the commonly used detection technologies in the industry are surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and bio-layer interferometry (BLI).

AlpVHHs provides corresponding molecular interaction analysis and testing services for biopharmaceutical R&D customers based on the Biacore platform and ForteBio Octet platform, which can realize qualitative and quantitative analysis of interactions such as proteins, antibodies, VHH, and Fab fragments. The main services include antibody screening, characterization, consistency evaluation, and interactions between biological macromolecules, which contribute to the development of biopharmaceuticals.

AlpVHHs provides a series of Smart Ligands® products, which are very convenient for direct fixation of analytes. However, traditional chemical fixation methods can easily inactivate analytes.
