pH630 Deep Red TFP Ester is an amine-reactive, pH-sensitive fluorescent dye designed for precise antibody internalization assays, endocytosis, and phagocytosis studies. This pH-activated fluorescent dye readily reacts with primary amines on proteins, cells, or viruses to form stable covalent conjugates that remain non-fluorescent at neutral pH and become fluorescent only in acidic environments.

 

Unlike conventional fluorescent dyes, pH630 Deep Red remains non-fluorescent at neutral pH, significantly reducing background signal. Upon internalization into acidic compartments such as late endosomes and lysosomes, the dye undergoes pH-dependent fluorescence activation, making it an ideal tool for lysosome tracking and endocytosis assays with a high signal-to-noise ratio.
