Anti-StayGold/mBaojin, AlpHcAbs® Rabbit antibody
In 2022, Japanese scientist Atsushi Miyawaki's team cloned a fluorescent protein with special photostability from the jellyfish C.uchidae, and its stability far exceeded any known fluorescent protein. After engineering modification, its brightness was no less than mNeonGreen and was named StayGold. On February 26, 2024, Kiryl Piatkevich's team at West Lake Laboratory and Fedor Subach's team at Lomonosov Moscow State University successfully developed a monomer version of StayGold using a directed evolution strategy and named it mBaoJin. mBaoJin's high brightness and strong photostability, coupled with its excellent chemical stability, make it an ideal fluorescent protein tool for studying the morphology and dynamic changes of cell and subcellular structures, especially super-resolution microscopy and expansion microscopy.
Currently, staygold has mutant versions of mStayGold(J), mStayGold(B), (n1)mStayGold(B) and mBaoJin. Experimental results show that mStayGold(J) and mBaoJin are significantly better than mStayGold(B) and (n1)mStayGold(B) in brightness. In terms of photostability, mStayGold(J), mStayGold(B) and (n1)mStayGold(B) show similar photostability, while the photostability of mBaoJin is about one-fifth of these three variants. In terms of dispersibility, all variants show high dispersibility, with OSER scores of mStayGold(J), mStayGold(B) and (n1)mStayGold(B) being 82%, 83% and 83% respectively, while mBaoJin is 73%.

● Anti-StayGold Nanobody--An Important Tool for StayGold Research

Based on the world's
leading Nanobody discovery platform, AlpVHHs is the first to develop
highly specific and high-affinity Anti-StayGold Nanobody, which makes up
for the lack of suitable antibody tools for studying StayGold.

Elisa experiment of different antigen using Anti-StayGold/mBaojin, AlpHcAbs® Rabbit antibody
The plate was coated with different amounts of StayGold or its variants. 1:10000 dilution of Anti-StayGold/mBaojin, AlpHcAbs® Rabbit antibody was used as the primary antibody. Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L), AlpSdAbs® VHH(HRP) (025-102-005) was used as the secondary antibody.

Confocal experiment of StayGold-Ensconsin transfected COS-7 using Anti-StayGold/mBaojin, AlpHcAbs® Rabbit antibody
StayGold-Ensconsin
transfected COS-7 cells were stained with Anti-StayGold/mBaojin,
AlpHcAbs® Rabbit antibody (1:500) and Goat Anti-Rabbit
IgG Antibody(AF647) was the secondary antibody(1:1000). (This picture is
